Frequently Asked Questions

 1. What is your Return Policy? 


  • Attention: 10% restocking fee will apply to all canceled orders after 24 hours' payment.
  •  We are unable to make changes to orders once they have been placed in our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery. 
  • If the items you ordered are not what you expected in size, fit or style, we will gladly provide you with a store credit on any regular or sale priced item in your order within 14 days of purchase.  
  • Return New Items Only: Returned clothes and accessories must be in new, unworn, unwashed condition without any damages and with the original hang tag attached. *Items must be free of stains, makeup, deodorant, or wear.
  • Bodysuits, swimwear, undergarments, beauty products, cosmetics, and accessories are non-returnable. 
  • Items cannot be returned after 14 days.
  • We will not be responsible for damages caused by shipping. In addition, all shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • Items marked as final sale cannot be returned. 
  • Items without the original hang tag attached will not be processed. 
  •  All returns must include an order packing slip that clearly indicates which items are being returned. If this is not filled out correctly, your return may experience issues in processing. 
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. With limited exceptions, we do not provide prepaid return labels. 
  •  We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in-transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns. Store credit will not be issued for returns without proof of receipt and delivery. 
  • Your return will be processed within five to seven business days after we receive and inspect the returned item(s).
  • Our goal at Melane´Designs is to provide quality products. However, if a damaged, defective, or incorrect item is delivered to you, it must be reported within three (3) days of delivery.

Melane´Designs reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:


· A returns history that is irregular or excessive (wardrobing).

· A returns history that is irregular or excessive and involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or

· A return that indicates potentially fraudulent or criminal activity. 


2. Do you allow product exchanges? 


We cannot guarantee our ability to accommodate exchanges, as we are unable to ensure the style/size required will remain available at the time that your return is received in our Distribution Center. Please contact our Customer Service Department for availability. 


3. Is there a size chart?


Yes, we provide a general size chart below. 


*Please note that sizing may slightly vary depending on different cuts and fabrics. Please use this information as a general guideline to determine the most accurate size for fit.


4. Will items that are out of stock be restocked?


We like to keep our inventory fresh and trendy with the newest styles for the season. Therefore, most of the items that sell out are not restocked. If you would like to know if an item will be restocked, please contact our Customer Service Team here in the US at 304-370-3720 or via email at customerservice@melanedesigns.com. 


5. I placed my order and forgot to apply the discount code? 

Once the order is completed, the discount code cannot be applied. 


6. When will my order be processed/delivered? 

  

Once the authorization criteria have been met and the order is approved, all orders placed Monday - Friday before 2pm EST will be processed same day. All orders placed Monday – Friday after 2pm and all orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed within one business day unless the business day falls on a holiday. If the business day falls on a holiday, your order will be processed the next business day following the holiday. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with a set delivery time of one to three business days.


* - Holidays include: Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Martin Luther King's Birthday.
